What you should be aware of on your car journey
In the city centre car parks, you must register at the machine or via an app. Parking is free for 2 hours, with the option to buy extra time. In some places you can park for 30 minutes without the possibility of buying extra time. Here you need a parking disc.

How to get around Fjordlandet
Plan your trip on Rejseplanen and discover how far you can travel in Fjordlandet in the shortest time. There are regional and intercity trains to and from Roskilde and Lejre, and an S train to and from Frederikssund. There are also bus connections between Roskilde and Frederikssund.
