UCI WorldTour in Roskilde and Frederikssund

The Copenhagen Sprint, part of the prestigious UCI WorldTour, takes place on June 13-14, 2026, starting in the historic city of Roskilde.

Copenhagen Sprint starts in Roskilde at the Viking Ship Museum. From there, cyclists follow a route along Roskilde Fjord, passing through Frederikssund before continuing into North Zealand and culminating in an intense sprint finish in Copenhagen.

As the name suggests, Copenhagen Sprint is designed for high speeds and thrilling sprint finishes, making it ideal for the world’s best sprinters. Its flat and fast course promises a spectacular conclusion in the heart of Copenhagen.

Copenhagen Sprint was originally scheduled for 20–21 June, but is being moved forward by one week and will instead be held on 13–14 June 2026.

What is Copenhagen Sprint?

Copenhagen Sprint is a new annual World Tour cycling race, featuring the world’s best male and female cyclists. The event includes a 235.7 km men’s race and a 151.3 km women’s race, starting in Roskilde and culminating in a thrilling circuit through Copenhagen’s streets. In addition to the races, there will be side events like public rides on the closed circuit, a cycling festival, and a summit focused on promoting cycling culture.
